Information

We are currently advertising shares in this NEW boat at £62,500.00 per 1/8 share. Up to 30 percent of the boat's value is available or a full buy out. This is a brand new boat still in build, some details are still to be specified. The USP of the boat is essentially that of an (almost) fossil fuel free Silent-Yacht. The Broadblue 346 is small enough to make a passage through the French canals to the Mediterranean, but robust enough to carry a Category A RCD certificate, all with 2m headroom throughout the boat. This catamaran is easily handled for families and those who prefer to be just passengers. This boat is a BB346 adapted for mastless motor power operation as a solar electric trawler; powered by six 48V ePropulsion E163 LiFePO propulsion batteries (50kWh) driving twin ePropulsion 6kW pod motors for a cruising speed of 5kn to 6.5kn. An additional house/multipurpose 48V LiFePO bank of 12kWh to power 12V house circuitry, 230V AC circuitry and recharge the 2 solar electric dinghy tenders. The solar panel estate will comprise 4000Wp nominal on a large GRP bimini. The envisaged typical operation are coastal hops of around 40 nm per day which would typically require little if any shore power recharging. For longer passage making twin 48V petrol generators and a 20 square metre kite sail will provide supplemental propulsive power. The boat has now been transferred to Hayling Island in Hampshire in a partially finished state and awaits completion during the remainder of 2025. Investors/buyers thus have an opportunity for significant input into the final finish and specifications. Once launched it will likely be registered in either Gibraltar or the Channel Islands and transferred to the Western Mediterranean in time for the 2026 summer season, although this is of course subject to the investors'/buyer's preferences. THIS IS A NEW BOAT AND AVAILABLE FROM SPRING 2025

Dinghy
The primary dinghy tender is a 3.4m carbon/GRP AST Beach on which a Highfield FCT7 steering console with seating bench has been installed alongside an American style T-Top. An A-frame installation carries 3 x 110W solar panels and an ePropulsion Navy 3 outboard is powered by an ePropulsion E60 LiFePO battery secured inside a lockable GRP cabinet. The secondary tender is a NZ built TrueKit 2.5m Navigator powered by a TEMO450 recharged on-the-go by a 100Wp solar panel. The catamaran's bathing platform has been reinforced to accommodate a hydraulic Canadian DinghyLift.
